Dear Middletown Reformed Church Family and Friends,

Blessings to you in this season of Eastertide!

As Jamie and I prepare to leave for Florida tomorrow to visit with my mother, I leave you in good hands with the Elders and Deacon Dan Pannebaker for our Fifth Sunday of Easter worship at 10:30 AM in person or on Facebook live. Dan is preaching from Psalm 148 and John 13.31-35 and his sermon title is A Glorious Love. Tom Martucci will play the anthem, “Oceans” and will lead us in our other musical offerings.

There are two upcoming events of which I wish to remind you. First, is the Italian Dinner Night for Pride in the Education Building, 6 PM on Saturday, May 21st. Adults: $15; children: $5. All of the proceeds will benefit our Pride ministries for the Asbury Park Pride Parade. Please invite your friends and family to this delicious meal! RSVP to me by May 16. And second is June 5 — It’s Pentecost and Pride Sunday! Please note that worship will begin at 9:30 AM on that Sunday in order to allow time for us to get down to Asbury Park for the Pride Parade.
