Post date: Jul 23, 2021 4:16:18 PM
Dear Middletown Reformed Church Family and Friends,
Blessings of Pentecost joy be with you!
Tonight is the night at 8 PM! After much planning and many rehearsals, welcome to the Cabaret in the Education Building! Our featured acts are Juliet Gallagher, Izaak Thorpe, Sarah Hanvey, Dan Pannebaker, Mike Steib and his JMR trio, Brian Kolins, Tom Martucci, and, of course, our beloved Judith Daugherty. Bring your favorite beverage and enjoy the music. Coffee and dessert will be provided. A free will offering will be taken to support the music ministry of the church.
In addition, as we continue to live in a pandemic, our society is ever shifting. And so, since the Delta variant of COVID-19 is rising in our area, we ask that you please follow the CDC guidelines for wearing masks for vaccinated and unvaccinated people for all church events and worship. Please note this is not a requirement, but a suggestion. Thank you for your cooperation in loving your neighbor and keeping everyone safe and healthy.
And then on Sunday, come to worship with your church family at 10:30 AM this Ninth Sunday after Pentecost in person or via YouTube — MRC: A Fabulous Church of Love. Our featured soloist is Juliet Gallagher, and she will be singing “You Are Mine” for our Anthem and “Use These Gifts” for our Offertory. I will be preaching from the Gospel of John 6.1-21 and my sermon title is When Ordinary Becomes Extraordinary.
What good is sitting alone In your room? Come hear the music play. Life is a Cabaret, old chum, Come to the Cabaret. See you tonight or on Sunday!
In gratitude for the privilege of being your pastor and the holy call of loving you,
Pastor Trish
