Rev. Tricia Sheffield, Ph.D.
Pastor
 
Pastor Trish earned her Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary (1995), her Ph.D. in Theological and Religious studies from Drew University (2005), and was ordained as Minister of Word and Sacrament in 2013 by the New York Classis of the Reformed Church in America. She has published several articles on religion, gender, and queer theory, and is the author of The Religious Dimensions of Advertising. She has taught religion and gender theory at the college level, and was the Lilly Visiting Scholar in Religious and Gender Studies at Austin College in Sherman, Texas (2006-2008). Before accepting the call to ministry at Middletown Reformed Church in March 2015, Pastor Trish was an Associate Minister at Middle Collegiate Church in the East Village of NYC. She also serves on the Executive Committee of Room for All, a non-profit organization that seeks to support, educate and advocate for the welcome and full affirmation of people of all sexual identities and gender expressions in the Reformed Church in America. Pastor Trish is grateful to God for the privilege of being the pastor of such a dynamic congregation called Middletown Reformed Church. 

                                                  
Judith Daugherty
Director of Music

Judith Daugherty is currently the Director of Music at Middletown Reformed Church. She grew up in Clayton, New Jersey, where she began playing organ for worship at the Clayton Presbyterian Church at age 12. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Glassboro State College, now known as Rowan University, she was a teacher of music for both Hazlet Township and Atlantic Highlands Elementary School systems. You may know her from her work as organist/director at King of Kings Lutheran Church. When not rehearsing singers or practicing piano you can find this Jersey Girl watching a Yankee game or a performance of the Metropolitan Opera.
