It's a New Dawn, It's a New Day . . .

Dear Middletown Reformed Church Family and Friends,

Grace and peace to you in this season of Christmas!

“It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life” (Nina Simone). I am looking forward to worshiping with you in the New Year this First Sunday after Christmas Day at 10:30 AM. Come in person or on Facebook live to begin anew and recenter yourselves in the hope, peace, joy, and love of God’s wondrous gift of salvation. Tom Martucci will be leading us as we glorify God in song. I am preaching from Galatians 4.4-7 and my sermon title is Keep Celebrating. As it is the First Sunday of the month, we will gather around God’s table to celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper — what a great way to start the New Year — being spiritually nourished by the Bread of Life and the Cup of Blessing.

As a reminder, all are welcome tonight to the “almost world famous” Eldridge-Fallon Christmas Open House from 4 PM to the Christmas tree lights are off. The address is 40 Melrose Terrace, Middletown. Come and celebrate the holidays with old and new friends!

Lastly, I will be taking some time off January 2 - 9. If you have a pastoral emergency, please contact Rev. Dawn Seaman at 732-888-7872. For all other issues, please contact VP of Consistory Dolores Hofmann at 908-601-0281.

See you on Sunday! And may you have a joyous, safe, and happy New Year.

In gratitude for the privilege of being your pastor and the holy call of loving you,

Pastor Trish
