December 1: Handbell Choir rehearsal in the Sanctuary, 9:30 AM


December 1: Sunday worship: Hope: First Sunday of Advent with the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper, 10:30 AM. First Sunday brunch to follow worship with a free will offering taken to support the ministries of the church.


December 3: New Jericho Choir rehearsal at King of Kings Lutheran Church with 

Nancy Scharff, 5 -6 PM


December 4: Community Outreach Board of Trustees meeting at Middletown Reformed Church, 7 PM


December 4: Final December Concert Choir rehearsal in the Sanctuary, 7:30 PM


December 5: Final Adult Education in Coventry House: In the Beginning: The Wild, Wacky, Wonderful World of Genesis, 6:15 PM 


December 8: Sunday worship: Peace: Second Sunday of Advent,  10:30 AM


December 8: December Songbook Concert in the Sanctuary, 3 PM with a gathering
afterwards in the Education Building. A free will offering will be taken to support the music ministry of the church.


December 9: New Jericho Choir rehearsal at MRC, 6 - 7:30 PM


December 9: Consistory meeting, 7 PM


December 11: Longest Night worship, 7 PM. A service to hold in the light and acknowledge those who may be struggling with grief, depression, anxiety, and loneliness during the Christmas season.


December 13: Christmas Cantata Song of Joy at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 7:30 PM. Our children will be featured in this concert.


December 15: Sunday worship: Joy: Third Sunday of Advent, 10:30 AM


December 15: Handbell Choir rehearsal in the Sanctuary, 12 PM


December 15: MOSAIC Interfaith Youth Group gathering, 3:30 - 5:30 PM at Sri
Guruvaayoorappan, Morganville


December 16: New Jericho Choir rehearsal at MRC, 6 - 7:30 PM


December 19: Joyful Noise Adult Choir rehearsal in the Lower Auditorium, 7:30 PM


December 21: Middletown Helps Its Own at New Monmouth Baptist Church, 7:30 AM. Please contact Beverly Bova Scarano if you are able to volunteer.


December 21: Joy to the World Cookie assembly (9:30 AM) and pick up in the
Education Building, 11:30 AM - 12 PM. You may also pick up your cookies on Sunday, December 22 after worship.


December 22: Sunday worship: Christmas Pageant: No Silent Night in Bethlehem, 10:30 AM. Afterwards we will have our annual Christmas Party in Coventry House. Santa and his elves will be making an appearance!


December 23: New Jericho Choir rehearsal at MRC, 6 - 7:30 PM


December 24: Bayshore Lunch Program volunteer opportunity, 10:30 AM - 2 PM


December 24: Christmas Eve Traditional and Family Friendly Candlelight worship, 6 PM. Come and celebrate hope, peace, joy, and Love coming into the world!

December 25: Christmas Day: Merry Christmas . . . Love is Born!

December 26: No Joyful Noise Adult Choir rehearsal


December 29: First Sunday after Christmas, 10:30 AM


December 31 - January 6: Pastor Trish on vacation
